A bit to catch up on from Yorkshire Park since our last update with a few winners, breeding season on our doorstep and one of our favourites retiring and heading to the breeding barn.
On the racing scene since our last update, we have had winners bred by Yorkshire Park in Kialla Kid & Good Word That both winning in August, Maestro winning in September and Drain the Swamp winning a further two races in the United States in July & August. That took us to 18 winners bred or owned by Yorkshire Park for the year to date. Alifetimeforliving part owned by Yorkshire Park featured well in the recent Vicbred Super Sires’ stakes series making the final but not having a lot of luck. She is entered for Bendigo on Wednesday 2 October and hopefully she can register her maiden win for the big group of owners. We have a number of our racehorses on the way back from a spell including That Major Look and Our Miki Diva and a unnamed filly by Vincent out of Neishars Jet. Brightly Blaze owned by Yorkshire Park is in the breaking in phase as is our part owned Vegas Diamond filly by American Ideal.
Classy Countess has been retired following discussions with trainer Adrian Duggan and she finishes her carfeer with 4 wins & 18 placings for $46K in prizemoney and a best winning time of 1.56.7. She is heading to the breeding barn to be served by Ride High.
