The month of September has begun really well for Yorkshire Park owned or bred horses with five wins up until the 11th of September. It all started with Maestro winning at Yarra Valley, Azterian making his WA debut with a win at Bunbury, followed up by another win at Gloucester Park, Kialla Kid getting the job done at Echuca and finally Our Miki Diva winning very well at Warragul. It certainly great to see the winners coming along after a really slow start to the year.
A number of our horses are returning to the racing scene with Classy Countess (Adrian Duggan Hobart), Nev’s Dream (Mark Watson Kyabram) both back in full work while Jets Art continues on his road to recovery and hopefully won’t be far away. The Soho Tribecca and American Ideal yearling fillies continue with their preparations while the Vincent filly out of Neishars Jet will be returning shortly.
On the breeding scene the first of our mares have headed to stud with She Will Rock (Ride High) only 3 weeks away from foaling while Masterkova (Sweet Lou) and Carrera Mystic (Captain Crunch) are not far away from heading to stud. It’s certainly getting to that exciting time of the year.
Thats about all for now.
Good luck and good punting.
Yorkshire Park team.
