News Update June 2025

A lot happening on the racing scene for Yorkshire Park with a further 8 winners either bred or owned by Yorkshire Park saluting in the last two months.

Our Miki Diva has really been in great touch with three wins and a placing from her last 5 starts, We Dealin Diamond saluting at Wagga to make it win number 2, Yorkshire Park bred horses Go Home Jo (Gloucester Park), La Volonte (Maryborough), Good Word That (Redcliffe) and Birkirkara winning on 2 occasions at Albion Park to take his record to 8 wins and 1 placing from 10 lifetime starts.

Brightly Blaze 2YO owned and bred by Yorkshire Park has since qualified but now having a short break, Piastri qualified but also gone for a short break, Luna Diva heads to her first trial at Kyabram this Sunday while Seaside Elegance & Always Watching are both in the process of being broken in.

It was great to see our Captain Crunch x Carrera Mystic colt sold at the Nutrien sales and heading to the Rutherglen stables of Mark Buckingham.  We wish Mark and the new owners all the best with him.

I Draintheswamp continues his good form in the USA with a bunch of placings recently as his prize money tops the $230K mark.  On that note Maestro sent his prizemoney over $100K as did King Tintin both have been terrific money earners for their owners.

Unfortunately, we had to retire That Maj Ya Look with a throat problem which is disappointing to the ownership group and Yorkshire Park.  She will now head to the Nutrien Winter Woollies online sale commencing 10 June to continue on in the breeding barn.

Our trotting yearling by Zenith Stride has headed to the John Caldow stables and has been leased to clients of that stable.

Our weanlings have progressed really well as they go through their early education with 3 fillies by Vincent, King of The North & Poster Boy and our colts by Pastor Stephen & Pebble Beach.  Looking forward to following their journey over the coming months.

Our mares in foal continue to do well and it won’t be that far away before we are sending them off to foal down from September.

Lots on the go.

Thats about all for now.

Good luck and good punting.

Yorkshire Park Team.
