News Update: 26 July 2019
Terrific night tonight for Yorkshire Park with both Rocking Bugatti & Jilliby Babavska both greeting the judge at Ballarat. Rocking Bugatti continues to improve and brought up back to back wins while Jilliby Babavska made it 5 wins from 7 starts this preparation. Great result for the owners and well done to Chris Svanosio and Paddy Lee on their training efforts.
NEWS UPDATE: July 2019
Great news for Yorkshire Park with Rocking Bugatti scoring his first win at Shepparton on Tuesday night (16th) after a number of consistent placings. A recent addition to Chris Svanosio’s stable Rocking Bugatti pulled clear to win by 1.1 metres after working around and sitting in the death seat. Other results for Yorkshire Park for the month has been Magical’s second in the Group 3 Super Sires Stakes feature at Melton and good performances from Hancocks Hero & Lutetia Midfrew during the month. Miss Maia made her race track debut this week with a fifth placing despite galloping twice during the run. The Majestic Son filly is out of Sixty Plus and certainly shows some ability, hopefully improved manners will see her finishing much closer. Littlebitof Terror went to the trials at Devonport on Monday and hopefully we will see her at the track shortly. By Western Terror out of Vickymurphy the filly is a half sister to Masterkova.
On the breeding scene we are starting to work through matings for the upcoming breeding season with our mares and once again we have enlisted the support of Anthony Mannix and his pedigree matching program. Hopefully we will have all the decisions made in the coming weeks. The three weanling fillies are all doing well despite the wet and cold conditions of late. Two will be heading to the APG sales in 2020.
Lets hope for another really good week on the race track.
