A quick update on progress to date with Yorkshire Park as we approach the end of 2022 heading into hopefully what will be an exciting and fruitful 2023.
On the racing scene I’m pleased to say that Azterian saluted at Warragul on the 21 December in a blistering 1.54.9 just 0.1 second outside the track record winning by 31.4 metres. A big congratulations to John & Maree Caldow and the winning connections. That makes it win number 26 for Yorkshire Park bred or owned horses in 2022.
This coming week will be a big one for Yorkshire Park bred horses as Maestro will contest the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series 4YO Trot at Melton Saturday night and his half-brother La Volonte will contest the 2YO Group 1 Vicbred Super Series Trot at Melton. Good luck to both groups of owners and hopefully you have a bit of luck in running. Both events carry total prize money of $100,000.
On the breeding scene we have 45-day positive test for She Will Rock (Ride High), a 14-day positive for both Masterkova (Sweet Lou), Our Narissa Franco (Poster Boy) and Watch the Dream has been served by Always B Miki. Still waiting on Magical, La Tonneralla and Sixty Plus.
It is that time of the year again so on behalf of everyone at Yorkshire Park we wish you a Merry Xmas and a safe and prosperous 2023.
Don’t forget you can contact us on twitter @yorkshirepark19 or face book at Yorkshire Park or via email dennis@yorkshirepark.com.au. We will be putting together a new syndicate in the new year so if you are interested just make contact and we can discuss further.
That is about all for now. Good luck and good punting.
Yorkshire Park team.
