Breeding for 2024/2025 has all wound up with Watch the Dream (Cannibal), Classy Countess (Ride High), Our Narissa Franco (Tintin in America), She Will Rock (Ride High), Masterkova (Poster Boy), Carrera Mystic (Soho Tribecca), Sixty Plus (King of the North) all in foal. Unfortunately, we missed with Magical (Volstead) but all in all a good result.
Our foals born this season are now starting to be weaned so we look forward to the early education process taking place. Fillies by Poster Boy, Ride High and King of the North plus colts by Pastor Stephen & Pebble Beach make up our weanlings this year.
On the racing scene we are pleased to say it has been a positive few months with the return of We Dealin Diamonds (2nd at Wagga) and Alifetimeforliving (winning at Bendigo) starting their campaigns well and now both fillies heading to the Nutrien Classic heats on Friday 4 April at Melton. Birkirkara has continued on his winning ways taking his record to six wins and a third from seven starts, King Tintin continues his good form with two further wins taking his prizemoney to over $100K, I Draintheswamp in the USA notching up a further win as he approaches the $200K in prizemoney mark, Good Word That hit the winning list again and Our Miki Diva making it win number five at Hobart last Friday night. La Volonte also notched up his first win in March. Nevs Dream has returned to the track while That Maj Ya Look has been spelled following breathing issue which will be attended to.
We have an interest in some nice young horses coming through the ranks with 2YO Piastri (Downbytheseaside colt), qualifying last week, Luna Diva 3YO filly by Vincent returning, and Seaside Elegance in NZ heading to the breakers. Brightly Blaze 2YO owned and bred by Yorkshire Park is not far away from the trials.
